Hey folks :) I got down to my store tonight and to my dismay, only six people showed up to the draft! Six person drafts are the kind that I never get to show you in draft videos, and for good reason. They're not super enjoyable. You do end up wheeling everything all the time, but it just doesn't feel as authentic. Regardless, I'll show you the list I ended up playing tonight. I went 2-1:
One of the joys of being a Magic player is the excitement of going to big tourneys! They're expensive, and time consuming, but the chance of winning is more important than either of these things. I ended up going 6-2, and being 19th place out of 165. I'll run through the final list I ended up taking and why I made some of the last second changes that I did. Here's the final list:
Hey all, I got a chance to do an eight man draft this evening at my local store Hobby Goblins. Feel free to visit the store's website at www.hobbygoblins.com . I went pretty deep tonight on the draft deck, but I had a good time and ended up going 2-1, and getting two packs:
I'm still running Naya Blitz, and 4-0d with it tonight at MNM! I also got a chance to do a full block draft online today for the release events. I punted HARD match 2 game 1, but still enjoyed the deck I ended up with, and some of the plays that got recorded. Anyway, back to standard constructed: This weekend is states, and I'm thinking I'm going to go. This Naya Blitz list is good, but I'm not convinced it's the best deck in the format.
