After first picking Advent of the Wurm, I decided not to marry the pick and was ok with picking the more quality spells over the "on-color with Advent" spells.  I saw quite a bit of value Izzet fairly early in the Dragon's Maze pack picking up the Blast of Genius, which is already becoming one of my favorite spells in the format, and also getting a Turn // Burn, which is legitimately one of the best pieces of removal in the format.  Being in four colors would scare the average human.  Me?  Not so much.  I prioritized gates early and managed to pick up a ton of them.  This tremendously alleviated most of my mana issued with the exclusion of the last round in which I lost game one due to the inability to find a white source.  Overall this deck was a blast to play.  One highlight was me attacking with a Blaze Commando and two other attackers, my opponent blocks the Commando with a three power guy and blocks another creature.  He then plays Turn // Burn with two different targets, the Blaze Commando being Turned, and a two toughness guy getting burned.  In response to his Turn // Burn, I play my own, kill the blocker that would have killed my Blaze Commando with Burn, and turn his other blocker into a 0/1.  I also net two hasty 1/1s from the Blaze Commando.  It was a sweet play and definitely a board changer.  Blaze Commando is better than I initially gave him credit for since he can actually generate tokens from instant or sorcery spell damage going anywhere, and not just players.  I had a good night and I'm looking forward to streaming tomorrow.  A friend of mine made an overlay for our stream channel, and it's really awesome, so I hope to see some of you out there 7PM central time.  Let's chat Magic!

Also, for the image, Jake and I collaborated and came up with a new type of equipment!  The kind that affects your opponent's creatures.  They all will have the "attach it to a creature that dealt combat damage to you this turn" clause on it and I'm curious to know how they would play.  We have a few more ideas in mind for future ones, but here's a taste!
