More Board Game Stuff! - 4/10/14

It's been a little while, so I'm going to start talking about some more details of the board game I'm making. If you didn't know I was making a board game, let me run through some quick things about it: it's one to four player, it's fully cooperative, it's a deckbuilding card game, it's high fantasy, it has similar elements and is sort of a hybrid form of Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering, it's going to have six missions and then a final boss encounter. It's going to have a detailed, fully original storyline, much like Dungeons and Dragons has, and now it's got a name! "Travelers of Storia" takes place on the planet Storia, a superplanet thousands of times bigger than Earth. Scattered all over Storia are what's known as the Nexus, an elaborate teleportation gate system. If you travel through the Nexus, you're taken to a random gate anywhere throughout Storia. Those who journey across the lands through the Nexus are known as Travelers, and you will encounter and fight alongside many Travelers. The first adventure will take place in Fairhaven's kingdom, a region of Storia inhabited by humans and goblins who are about to enter a major conflict. That's all I really want to spoil for now. I want to personally thank Jeff Hebert of www.heromachine.com.  His website is the finest free resource of character models I've found, and it has been just amazing for our game.  I've subscribed to his website, and recommend anyone else who appreciates what he's done to do the same.  He literally allowed me, a person with no drawing artistic ability at all, to create amazingly cool high fantasy characters.  That's gonna be it for this update.  I hope everyone's been enjoying the draft videos!  I'll update you again soon.
