Howdy folks! As the title suggests, SeemsGoodMagic.com is proud to present it's newest regular content provider, Jamie Rigatti. Jamie will have a featured video playlist every Friday, which will nicely bookend the week with Travis's Monday videos. I met Jamie on Twitch, and thinks she's got a great mind and demeanor for the game. Her first couple videos went over very well, so I'm excited to see more from her on the site in the weeks and months to come. I recently got a new...
Hey everybody! I've started a regular schedule for Twitch streaming. As of now, it's Saturday/Sunday/Monday with a start time around noon. To everybody that's been coming out and chatting, thanks! It's awesome to hear from people that have watched the videos over the years, and it means a lot to me to hear from you. If you haven't already done so, please follow me on Twitch and subscribe to the ...
Howdy folks! I haven't blogged in a while now, and I was hoping to have this one be a Travelers of Storia alpha inauguration one, but alas, we're not quite there yet. The programmer has been working hard on the project, and I've been doing everything I can to help him however I can, as well as enlist the help of voice actors, a composer, and an artist to make sure this game is everything I want it to be for you. As you may have seen, I've prepared an Alex's Corner video...
Well, we're about to wrap up two months of programming and other prep work for Travelers of Storia the digital card game project. Progress has been wonderful so far. The programmer, Alec Slayden, has really impressed me and has programmed quite a bit of functionality already. According to him, we are still on target to have a playable beta ready in another month. I will have videos of me and him playing it when that's ready, so be sure and check back frequently for that. I've...
Hey gang, if you've been checking out the videos recently you've seen that we have some familiar faces returning to the site as well as some new friends. I've had the opportunity to record a few drafts with Denis from Windmill Slam now and those are a lot of fun. You can also catch Morgan's draft videos monthly. And in a triumphant return to the site, expect more Randy draft videos as well. You may even see another drafter or two over the next few weeks, so be sure to check...
Hey folks, so far Magic Origins has been a lot of fun. I've come to understand the format pretty well, yet still feel like I have a lot to learn. It's interesting not having to deal with morphs anymore since it had been such a long stretch of them in Khans block. The removal and creatures in Origins seem superbly strong, which really makes for a relatively quick format most of the time. I've played practically every archetype already, and haven't really found one that I think...
The holiday cube drafts for this season have finally come online and I've decided to call it quits on the Dragons of Tarkir format. 73 drafts is a new record high for me! I had a really rocky start in the beginning, and didn't even realize until the first draft had started that it didn't include Khans of Tarkir. I decided after the first 20 drafts or so with my pretty poor results that I missed Khans a lot and wasn't digging this new format. The three-color morphs and charms...
Hey gang, a few days ago I finished editing the first playthrough video for my board game Travelers of Storia. If you don't know anything about the game, I think this video located here should be very informative for you.
